Is there anything more disappointing than a big breakfast that is anything but?
Dizengoff’s oversized feta salad overdelivers the goods. This is a seriously generous serving, and more importantly, it’s freaking delicious.
While I normally refuse to allow green beans anywhere near my gob, I managed to get most of these down. That’s serious business.

Everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - on the menu at Jaan is enticing. I have enough trouble deciding what I want from the local takeaway; that was compounded infinitely here. We settled on the meat mezza platter and open lanb sandwich. Both excellent choices. (Though I can’t help but think it would be very hard to go wrong here. Shish kebabs, woodfired pizza, and moussaka were also close contenders.)
The veggies were uber fresh, the naan bursting with garlicky goodness. Little falafel, patties and spring rolls dipped in yoghurt sauce and hummus rounded the whole meal off nicely.
There was baklava, too, but that got devoured before I could even contemplate clicking through to my camera app.
